Check Out Barack Obama’s Favorite Music Of The Year

Barack Obama is wrapping up 2020 by sharing his favorites. He started a series on his social media sharing his favorite books, movies, and television shows.

Some of his favorite books included Homeland Elegies by Ayad Akhtar, Deacon King Kong by James McBride, and Missionaries by Phil Klay to name but a few. Some of the former Potu’s favorite movies include Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Nomadland, while his favorite TV shows include The Boys and Mrs. America.

Of his list of favorites, the music included some interesting choices. Barack has been known to be in tune with what’s relevant in mainstream music. Some of his favorite music for the year 2020 includes Megan Thee Stallion, Jhene Aiko & Lil Baby.

The former president shared his favorite songs of the year on Instagram. He revealed in the caption that he received help from his 19-year-old daughter Sasha Obama. He wrote:“Here are some of my favorite songs of the year. As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to.”

Some of the favorites that made the list include Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” Remix featuring Beyonce, “Franchise” by Travis Scott featuring Young Thug & M.I.A., and “The Biggest Picture” by Lil Baby. J. Cole’s “The Climb Back”, H.E.R.’s hit song “Damage”,  and Jhene Aiko’s “Summer 2020” was also shown love on the list, along with “Lemonade” by Internet Money feat. Don Toliver, Gunna & NAV, and “Blue World” by late rapper Mac Miller.

Barack Obama continues to promote his book ‘Promised Land’ whilst sharing his experiences in 2020.
