Commercial Transport start-up company looking for a young dedicated and versatile finance and admin professional.


Duties And Responsibilities


Duties And Responsibilities
– Capturing day to day trips onto Excel database.
– Follow up relevant documents from clients and drivers on time.
– Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports of the activities of the trucks.
– Compute reconciliations of invoices for trips done against fuel invoices and prepare payment requests.
– Prepare monthly statements for clients
– Set up financial systems, processes, and operating procedures relevant to the efficient functioning of the business
– Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
– Analyze business operations, resource utilisation, trends, costs, revenues, financial obligations, to project future revenues and expenses and to provide advice.
– Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
– Preparation of management accounts.
– Online tracking of vehicles for administrative purposes.
– The incumbent shall perform paper filing and electronic filing.
– Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations for all business units.

Qualifications And Experience


Qualifications and Experience
– A degree in Accounting, Business Studies
or equivalent.
– At least 1 year in a similar position
– Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
– Accuracy and attention to detail
– Good interpersonal skills with clients
– Good understanding of logistics and transport will be an added advantage
