If you are among many who find dark backgrounds easier to look at as compared to brighter backgrounds, WhatsApp has got you covered with its new alternative to the traditional bright-grey background for anyone who wants to give it a try.
WhatsApp dark mode has become the new design for the messaging app, designed to emit less glare at night.
The mode is mostly gray, with green accents and status messages in yellow.
As previously seen on the sister messaging app – Facebook, darker screens are also prefered for the less use of power.
The dark mode is currently available for updated versions of WhatsApp so you may find that you already have the option to set up from your current app. However, if not then you’ll have to get an updated version of WhatsApp or enroll on the WhatsApp beta program to get access to these new cool features as they are being released.
