Job Summary
Freda Rebecca Gold Mine has a vacancy for a Planned Maintenance Officer who will be reporting to the planning Engineer in the Engineering Department.
Duties And Responsibilities
Accountabilities of the role Preparing reports, analyzing data and making recommendations for improving plant equipment operations
Ensuring key performance indicators are monitored and reported.
Developing cost and time estimates for planned maintenance work.
Preparing Material Requirement Plans (MRPs) for scheduled Service and maintenance work.
Reviewing applicable maintenance procedures and practices that promote defect- free maintenance work quality
Responsible for the up-keep of accurate equipment maintenance history in the Enterprise Asset Management System.
Preparing schedules for data management and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness
Collaborating with maintenance supervision to allocate manpower and resources for planned maintenance work.
Preparing plans for major shutdowns and breakdowns to ensure timeous return to service of equipment.
Performing breakdown Root Cause Analysis.
Plans for and facilitates engineering projects while solving maintenance related problems.
Qualifications And Experience
• National Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 year’s experience in maintenance planning at a reputable organisation.
• Knowledge of Plant equipment including conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps. ball mills, compressors and generators.
▪ Proficiency in Pragma OnKey Computerised Maintenance Management System.
❖ Should have sound knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001: 2015.
